In Scotland!

Well, it's been a looong time since I've last posted, and I'm really, really behind. I've been driving through Ireland for the past week and a half with my Mom, who came to meet me in Dublin. The search for our Irish heritage took us from Dublin to the Clare area and just about everywhere in between. After Dublin, internet access became extremely scarce, so there was no updating my blog...sorry about that...but we had an amazing time and I learned a lot about where my Grandma Vera and her family came from. I'll update more on that when I can get a chance...for now, I'm off to catch my bus to Jolly old England :D

I hear Prince William broke up with his girlfriend.

At least you are single. I was married when I went to England in 1980 in the fall. And you were born in August that year!

It's amazing how life keeps on ticking!

Glad to read your post today.

Grandma is here for her birthday. She'll be here for a week. I went to pick her up yesterday and spent the night. Today I did 5 loads of laundry for her. Cleaned out the fridge and found where she hid her carton of Pall Malls.

She has your Louvre photo 5x7 in frame I brought her on her table. And a looseleaf of Feb and March posts with photos in back. I made one for you and for me. Now I look forward to April posts.

Take care and be safe!

P.S. By the way it's been so cold here that our yatch club and other sailors and boaters can't paint their bottom of boat and get them in the water. Your mom and Dale will be there this weekend at cottage. Grandma and I stopped on way here today. Since I and Joe did not get there last summer it was nice to see it again all clean and ready for summer!

Well today the 23rd is the day you fly back home to Canada.

Perhaps when you return you can add more posts about the UK and Ireland and including Scotland!

We're all praying on your safe return.

I hear Avalon is back in school after chicken pox. I know Avalon must be exciting to see you and Loclan is too small but he will remember you too when he sees you.
